The first show, in 1967, was presented as a variety revue by the Lynden United Church Centennial Choir. Bette Norton directed the 28 voices for 3 performances over 3 evenings.

The shows were first presented in what is now the gymnasium in the Lynden United Church.
There was a demand for more seating so the performances moved to the main sanctuary of the church.
In recent years the choir has grown to about 60 voices. A whole new stage had to be built to accommodate the swelling numbers.
